Internship Requirements Policy

Students are required to complete 300 hours of clinical ministry.

Internship sites can include one or more of multiple sites: hospital, hospice, law enforcement, nursing home, mental health facility, counseling center, etc.

Background Check Requirements:

  • Students will be required to provide evidence of a current background check unless covered by the Internship site
  • Students living outside the United States are not required to provide a background check but are encouraged to do so.

Student Files: Students completing an internship outside the residential setting must have a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which is provided in the Guidelines for Internship and maintained in the student files in SharePoint.
